Hard time understanding

Forgive me for being blunt but I don't like to sit by while people disseminate unsubstantiated nonsense. That is one of the reasons I come to this forum. The other is to learn.

Most of what he wrote was a well reasoned, balanced and respectful view of things that go on in audio. He did use the word "brainwashed" but I think it is a fairly accurate description for what is going on.

Then you told him "... when other people do what they want why does it bother you?" which is a fallacy. He was not criticizing that people did what they want. He was criticizing that they were doing things they did not understand.

That to me is the purpose of knowledge. To understand so that you can do things better.

To counter that with "they can do what they like" has no meaning at all. Who would object to that in a free society?

Twisting people's words is not nice. So please don't give me this offended attitude.
