Re: How do you know what you hear?

Soundmind, How do you know:

1) The DBT's you are refering to were performed by qualified professionals? (If they weren't the tests are suspect)

2) Components being used in the DBT's aren't masking subtle details that the ear/brain combo uses to qualify differences? (If any subtle details were masked the tests are suspect)

I think proponents of DBT's should remember what Albert Einstein said: "Not everything that can be counted counts, & not everything that counts can be counted."

In regards to DBT's I'd rephrase that statement as such... Not everything in DBT's that can be counted counts in regards to proving or disproving Subjectivists claims, & not everything that a counts in regards to proving or disproving Subjectivists claims can be counted via DBTs.
