Propagating fantasy listening experiences is probably not healthy

When suggesting someone’s listening experience may have an imagination component rather than a physical one, the common response is "so what if the listeners are only imagining the differences in cable – to them it’s real."

Confusing your fantasies with reality is not only unhealthy, but it encourages and directly supports the dishonest snake-oil vendors in our hobby (rather than the honest ones).

Also, since it’s a fantasy, you’re the *only* one who can hear the improvements. Many of us like to share systems with others – how can we implant the same phony suggestions into their minds so they too can "enjoy" the imagined audio?
