A noble, respectable cause indeed!

What have you done to further this?

You've heard intelligent posters such as mkuller, Jon Risch and Clark Johnsen comment about cable sonics and their belief that DBT's don't work for audio. That's just to name two of many! Have you tested cables? Blind AND sighted? Have you researched other possible physical science factors besides LCR parameters that might be causing cable sonics? Is there anything at all that has advanced audio since the CD, in your opinion? Do different preamps, power amps, CDP's, etc with the same specs sound different to you? If so, how do you explain that? If not, then that's your experience and I respect that.

Although it may not sound like it, I'm not trying to be a smartass. But I hear people claim they're trying to find advances in audio so I'm naturally curious as to who is doing anything about it. If I were capable of doing so, I would, but my training is in Finance and "free jazz". :) Then again, I'm not pooh-poohing everyone else's sonic experiences and I'm not so tied to DBT theory that I can't see how the tests may not work.
