Hmmm... OK.

I don't understand how the signal traveling speed (at the speed of light) influences the sound?

If I understood some theories behind skin effect, higher frequencies travel on the surface of the cable and lower frequencies travel deeper.
Hence, there could be some timing errors (higher frequencies don't travel at the same speed as lower frequencies).

But since we are talking about speed of light (300.000km/sec) how this effect could be noticeable in a cable of only 1m in lenght?
