RE deleting your own posts.

If no one has responded to your post, then it can be deleted, look down at the bottom of YOUR post, and in between "Comment" and "Copyright Warning ..." there is a "Delete" link.

You can only delete a post you originated, and can delete it only if you have registered (you must have been registered when you posted) and are logged in.

BTW, I deleted the duplicate post in Cables, and moved the active thread here, since it violated the "no DBT" rule in the Cable Asylum.
