Exactly my point. Solid state does work, for Silver, and tubes don't. Hence, the synergy of solid state with his system seems to work better for him. And when did I suggest that he, you or anybody else should be using tube gear. Silver suggested that in general tubes don't work for music and I respectfully disagree as I mentioned that tubes do work for people including myself. Like everything else it is a matter of choice and preferance nothing else.
