I did leave out the preposition "to" so maybe the misunderstanding is my fault.

I was responding to Michael's comment (he is a tube lover) that the poor results you get with the tube amp could be characterized as a system synergy problem.

My comment to Michael was to the effect that you do not seem to have a system synergy problem with your solid state amplifier. The implication being, since your SS set up works so well, why should you bother with tubes?

I use solid state equipment myself, and see absolutely no reason to get tube equipment.
