Yes. As I wrote at the like, I think any SET amps are practically incapable of decent reproduction of music, considering the availability of efficient and decent sounding speakers now a day. One may be tempted to use a SET amp when he listen to music only in small volume, but even at 75db peak using a 90db effcient speaker. it gives me a kind of listenning fatigues. Although while lietenning it the sound very revealing and exciting without any ostensible distortions, after 15 minutes I usually do not want to go on litenning any more. This is exactly the case even when I lieten to music at Kondo-san's place at AN-J .
When I listen to Wagner's RING with MacIntosh SS 600w amp driving low-efficient B&W801, I can contunute to listen to music 17 hours straight
with identical SPL of the live without any fatigue.
