The stock 3rd order crossover is close enough to a Butterworth that you would be unlikely to get close with a second order. But you can try for a second order by lowering the crossover frequency and use a sharper alignment like LR. Try it and see if you can find a second order alignment that works with the PLLXO.

You have a parametric EQ that you can program as a crossover whichever way you like. I think there are enough filters available to do most crossovers.

If you don't mind some work, you can make a set of Lpads on the output from the behringer and raise the input volume. Which should improve your S/N. Do a significant Lpad - like 12 db since the hiss is beyond just noticeable.
