RE: Tweeter difference problem with 3.3Rs and more

Thanks Satie,
Will get the brass splitters.
Not looked inside the connection panels but will do later, - and will try the NAD on the tweeter at the weekend most probably.
If the QUAD 606 has a thump on startup should I avoid using that on the mid/tweeter section, though the interal crossover, or is it likely to be more dodgy connected to the bass panel directly?

When I tested the other day the NAD actualyl sounded pretty good on the mid/top to my surprise (with the Quad on the bass panel), - better than the other way around. I had to do it thbe fromer way to avoid hiss (Quad was too hissy used on the top) but then again I still had some noise from the bass panel using the high gain QUAD. I've made a different XLR to RCA cable that might give me that 6dB output attenuation on the Behrginer. And I've also just knocked up the PLLXO. I went to Maplin, - was in the area so it was convenient. Parts are not quite as good as Crickleweood but its a test. C1 is a big popypropylene so should be OK. They only had the right value C2 in polyester caps, - should I try to get something better?
Will probably be trying this all at the weekend, - will let you know how I get on. Many thanks for the help with the PLLXO.
Cheers,
Colin
