That you really and truly believe that!A flawed DBT can only provide confusion and data that can be misconstrued, especially since the all too human tendency is to incorrectly take a lack of results (failure to reject the null) as if it were an actual negative result.
Any one who can say what you have said in all seriousness, has lost complete sight of the real science behind DBT's, and the reasons for not accepting such test results that way.
DBT insures nothing else, NOTHING!!
The very act of creating a true DBT situation automatically leads to extra difficulties for the listener, additional hurdles to overcome, and makes it harder to actually hear subtle things.
However, for yourself, you have made DBT a mindless mantra of pseudo-science, an objectivist figurehead, a magic acronym, a religion unto itself, complete with zealotry, persecution, and dogma.
I don't believe that it is even possible anymore for the vast majority of the vocal pro-DBT poster's to think realistically about DBT's and the signficiant logistical problems they pose, the inherent problems and procedural pitfalls involved. They just blindly spout the same old propoganda, mouthing the same old platitudes and catch-phrases passed from one naysayer to another.
Such as the obsession with "sighted listening", and the complete absense of critical thinking once the magic acronym DBT has been invoked. "Begone O sighted listening Demons, I banish thee in the name of Deeeeeeeee Beeeeeeeeee Teeeeeeeeeeeee!"
Yeah, right.
