Re: How Does One Prove You Can Hear Different Cables

Do you hear the cable or the frequency response change if the cable is reactive enough, and the output impedance of the unit driving the cable is high enough?
Do you hear the cable if the cable is reactive enough to cause the driver to give audible distortion?
Do you hear the speaker cable if it is reactive enough to cause enough change to the crossover so you hear a frequency response difference?
Do you hear the speaker cable if the cable is reactive enough to cause the amplifer to go into oscillation?
Do you hear the cable pick up noise or magnetic field if it is not a shielded twisted pair?
You might ask yourself some of those questions for starters.
