Once again you confuse the issues, your post shows once again that you fail to the under the place of each issue in the process.

"Enjoy your measurements I'll stick with excellent sound instead."

What makes you think I do not enjoy excellent sound? Obviously, you do not get it, measurements are a means to an end, not the end itself, listening is always the end goal. As with most consumer technologies, consumers do not require an understanding of the underlying measurements to appreciate the technology, however it does not diminish the importance of measurements as a tool of objectively defining performance.
