I find you laughable. With your choice of medium rez speakers (at best), it would be most difficult for even the most self assured audiophile to determine the difference between say a Pioneer integrated and a Blue Circle. Do finish reading about my he man rig, mid rig speakerman. You are such a jerk, you can't even tell when someone is trying to be funny, ala Corey Greenurg. I had a Parasound that I got on sale for 1200 bucks many years ago and then went active, which the benefits of need not be debated. I am sure Mr. Aczel and Julian Hirsch, rest his soul, would know the benefits of such a configuration. If you don't know, you need to piss off (one of your cutsie terms) and go and upgrade your power cord and get back with us all on how it finally brought you audio nirvana. Continuing... I got my Plinius for 1200 bucks used from a store and a year later the Pass for 900, from a store as well, when the J went on sale. Due to the timing, I very well may have purchased edta's old amp, thank him. So for not much more than the price of your beloved Blue Circle, of which I was least impressed when I heard it (ran out of gas quickly for a 100 + watt amp), I have a blown big block, not a 4 cylinder that I need to worry about over driving. Running way less than -10 Dbs of max amp power at any listeing level does provide an effortless reproduction.

You do seem to end up on the floor quite often.
