Safeguards Against Expectation Biases Aren't Needed

Caymus,

I find it amusing that you, like many other Objectivists often site the need for "... safeguards against expectation biases? "

Back when I believed cables didn't audibly sound different, I ran a series of tests on solidstate, hybrid and tubed equipment with the expected bias of believing I wouldn't hear a difference in the interconnects, yet lo and behold I still heard differences!

It would appear that the need for safeguards against expectation biases isn't actually required. My expectation biases definitely didn't prevent me from hearing the differences I expected due to my biases not to hear.
