Shouldn’t you be even more skeptical of the usual open-loop listening observations that have absolutely *no* safeguards against expectation biases? Why is that better?Especially when evaluating questionable components (like cables, outlets, edge markers, GSICs, etc.), how do you determine how much of the listener’s judgment was involuntarily influenced by prior knowledge?
