Josh, the well-known turntable set-up man and hi-fi retailer Brooks Berdan was a pal of mine (my band played at his 50th birthday party---he got up on my drumset and played "Wipeout"; I never saw him so happy!), and I watched him mount a lot of the Eminent Technology linear-tracking air-bearing arm on a lot of tables---Oracles, SOTA's, and VPI's mostly.

But that Rabco/TD-125 combo was the first of it's kind---the first "super-table", State of The Art in the early-mid 70's. I could afford only an original AR XA in '69, but in '72 took out a big loan to get the TD125, SME, and my first Maggies---Tympani I's.
