RE: Limage: Oh my goodness.

"Common Wisdom" is highly unreliable. My opinions come from 60 years of listening including 25 years as a recording engineer. Also have a BSEE.
Was recently at a Maggie dealer. His demo Maggies were in a room that had a lot of absorbing material on the front wall. The Maggies (3.7i) sounded awful. Very dull sounding with no bottom end. He told me he didn't seel many Maggies. I wonder why? You can talk all you want to about comb filtering and time domain problems but it finally comes down to the listening. My ears and the ears of my friends tell me I am correct, at least in my room with my equipment. My one advice would be careful about over damping your room with dipoles. It sucks the life out of them
