RE: Limage: Oh my goodness.

Lateral imaging is damn near the width of the room. Outside edges of speakers are about 9" from side walls. I tried positioning the .7's 40% out from the front walls but I prefer 33% with very slight toe-in. That's where I'm at now pending further refinement- or not. I did turn the tube traps around so that the reflective side faces the rear of the speakers.

One bit of irony, is visual aesthetics. With the speakers so close to the side walls, they are visually less obtrusive. I bought the .7's because I thought they would scale better in my small room instead of say, 1.7's. So now, of course, I'm thinking bigger might be better! A couple of years ago, I passed on a killer deal for a pair of 3.6's. Now, I likely would have snapped 'em up. :)

Oh what a wonderful, crazy hobby this is! And what an incredible value Magnepans are. But of course, we all know that. :)
