The Magnepan and Bryston were new. The VAC used, but all are made in North America. not that 'other' place...
As far as selling 'listening to music': never. i have never tried to, nor has anyone ever asked to listen to my stereo. i am not going to go out and drag people in and force them to listen. My friends do not care much about music, except to have it as background, or very casual listening. They all view my expenditures on equipment and recordings as a form of madness... best not to be discussed.
But for me it is the main focus of my time. Now that I am retired, I listen most all day, every day.
Someday someone will get my LPs, which I have cared for and are all really nice.
