I don't know the Morgan Jones formula but my calculations give ~ 14,000 microfarad for 0.63 Vpp ripple. Actually that is just over two times your number. Are you sure that you accounted for 1/2 Wave?

The sim which Tre' posted pretty much agrees with you, but I'm trying to figure if that is with 600 ma load or 100 ma load.
