RE: Is this feasible? Rectifying 6.3v for heaters




Why not just use AC to heat the tubes?

Maybe I'm just paranoid but I wouldn't want .63 volts of sawtooth anywhere near my audio circuits.

In all but the output stage chassis my power supplies are outboard.

All power supplies are critical inductance choke input.

I like things to be "calm" but that may just be me. :-)
