That's because of your experience limitations (we all have them). And that's because you presumably have some intellectual honesty and/or morals that prevents you from sharing with others things you're convinced are probably untrue.

That's because you assume everybody else is just like you and their experiences with playback music and systems are no different (same limitations) than yours. Rather closed-minded if you ask me.
To prove my point, I've never heard an MQA-formatted recording or demo of any kind. Yet, as soon as I first read about MQA's promises in The Absolute Sound and also read TAS' interview with Bob Stuart (late 2014 / early 2015 era) I immediately started posting in this and another forum repeatedly trying to warn others that MQA was a hoax and fraud and a few times even tried to explain why all the performance promises of MQA were BS and examples of selling out high-end audio. I even said then that if Stuart & co. really were trying to achieve those levels of performance they were espousing, they were entirely barking up the wrong technology tree.
I was just as right 2 1/2 years ago as I am today about MQA's performance. But since you're convinced we all have the same playback experiences you and Atkinson and others cannot fathom that others may have different quite possibly more enlightening experiences than yourselves. Which if so, is not only examples of being closed minded but also arrogant.
Read my lips. From a performance perspective, MQA was a hoax (that's the kind word) from day one. As were the early out-of-this-world endorsements regarding MQA's performance.
BTW, I appreciate the fact that you trust Atkinson's integrity and listening skills as much as perhaps anybody. It's sad but still appreciated. And when this hoax is more fully exposed, it will interesting to see if you still maintain that same perspective level of respect.
