They make excellent mass production middle of the line gear. However, they try to create an impression (through aggressive marketing) that they are way above that.Bose stuff may seem OK by itself, but its inferiority is immediately clear upon comparison with similar pieces in the same price range. I recently compared Bose headphones with similar priced Grado 325 and Sennheiser 650. It was night and day. Bose sounded more like $20-50 headphones. Big improvement though when compared to $10 earbuds.
