I think we all know how much you revere '70s rock,' but thanks for the math lesson on

Very helpful. I'll let you know if I require any more clarifications of the obvious. I'm not sure how that explains why anyone is supposed to believe that Bad Company was somehow more popular in the 1970s than the other two bands mentioned anymore than anyone is supposed to believe that a baseball stadium is somehow a 'smaller' venue because when first used for music there were no seats on the field level.

Jethro Tull sold something like twice as many records as Bad Company in the U.S. during the 1970s, but I'm sure you have a reason why this somehow makes Bad Company more popular.
