We are in the minority. Most people who would pay to see Genesis are probably unaware that Peter Gabriel was ever in the band. They never released anything remotely approaching a hit song stateside.Actually, the worst thing that could happen is that large crowds of middle aged hausfraus pay big bucks to go see Phil pump out the hits and they get some bizzare art show complete with floral costuming.
When Chicago tried to tour more experimental material a few years back, they said they lost half their audience the next summer. This is probably why Sysiphus remains in the can to this day.
