Hmmm,. sounds like a Phil Collins /Genesis bit of spin to me..Rumour over this side of the pond was that Phil Collins has an expensive divorce to finance and that Gabriel was willing to join in, if a hefty proportion of the takings went to 'Good Causes'. Some fell on stoney ground..as they say..
You may well be right about the numbers, but remember that Soft drinks company....Coca Cola? They used to sell a product and then completely re-formulated the recipe, and sold MILLIONS..but don't try telling me it tastes better now just cos they sold more..
Then again, I'm completely biased, I wouldn't cross the road to see post-Gabriel Genesis....When you've tasted the Real Thing then everything else is just a diluted, sugary. watered down replica.
If you are however a big fan of Collins/Genesis then I unreservedly apologise for any offence caused..no animals were injured in the making of this production etc..etc
