Fully agree that the hard drive makes the tinitus worse (or at least seems to make one more aware of the sound in your head, which amounts to the same thing, I guess). I think that both the audible level of the hard drive and the frequency generated are factors. How does one go about evaluating which hard drive is easier on the ears (or mind?) of a tinitus sufferer?
