RE: Still viable here in Colorado.... for now


I'm not sure how the batteries come into play. Do you have control over when you pull power from the batteries vs the grid? And can this be automated with a timer to match your TOU schedule? Charging batteries during off-peak and pulling power from them during peak demand could save money I suppose. I'm just thinking out loud as I'm not sure how that would work. Our inverter has a built-in battery charger but it's not in use.
