If a designer of expensive audio equipment can't even select the best power cord...I would agree...it that were true. At least for my brands, it is not. There is a difference between selecting and supplying. My CD player did not include a power cord. They would provide a cheapo one if the customer desired. No one does. Luke Manley says they merely provide a UL listed 16 gauge cord for those owners who do not already have better ones. Most do.
