RE: AN/E Kit 3 bass boominess

I also have the kit03's. I do have to agree that they can be a TAD loose and boomy in the bass, sometimes simply depending on the source material.

But that is a small price to pay when you get great timbre and tonality from top to bottom, especially with a SET amp. The music just sounds natural and real (well, nothing sounds like the real thing ) --- is that what the term "musical" means ?
