The cabinet construction should be as close to identical as possible, given the limitations of non-factory construction and the inability to do a final tuning of the crossover/driver combination in its cabinet, since the cabinet has yet to be built when the kit is shipped from the UK.
How are yours different?
Another area that tends to receive short shrift is that of stands. What stands are you using? Are the speakers blutak'd to the stands? Are the stands set up so as to have absolutely NO wobble when you press on the sides of the speaker from any direction? Have you loaded the stands with a mix of fine lead shot and fine sand? The more of this you get right, the tighter and more grounded the bass becomes and the better defined the mids and highs become. There is a lot of fine, inner detail that the E's resolve which will be lost without proper siting.
