Stewart Copeland is the most likely suspect I would imagine might have done this by himself, but I don't know."The only song I suspect this occurring is the Police "Walking on the Moon", where Copeland does something like this in the middle of the song, but I have to listen to it. Someone thought Peart may have done so during R30 Overture, but the rhythms are interlinked, not totally independent.
If nothing else, I think the claim I was investigating is going to turn up false. The tracks I found with drummers supposedly doing 3/4 over 4/4, it's with the rest of the band, not by himself.
