Objective performance does not listen to music. The final arbiter of all quality in audio is the listener...not the oscilloscope.
It does tell you if something MIGHT have a fundamental flaw but it doesn't tell you anything about the success of a design in terms of sonic quality. The data does not tell you that directly. If it was designed to a model, then one might expect it to appeal to a wider audience than one that is designed purely to lowest distortion no matter how that is achieved.
