ONLY hangup is that copper oxidizes like a rabid dog. You'll have to clean 'em/ reburnish on a regular basis.
Some other good conductor which doesn't oxidize would be nice. I have copper for that reason.
Taking a fuse completely out of the circuit is as easy as opening the plate and soldering the wire from one side of the fuse holder to the other......Bingo, and reversible, too.
