Thanks for the picts. That is very different from the schematic.
If I go by what Davey told me and what the graphs on my crossover show, what you are hearing is a midrange dip. I can see where that would sound like you have alot more bass...in a way you do relative to the mid.
Kind of like the perception of more bass when one turns down the treble with bass and treble controls.
Just my speculation mind you based on what Davey wrote. Though it does explain your results.
