RE: Another Vote for the Chinese "Odin 2" Interconnect

I'm not sure about the last batch of Odin Gold RCA iCs I've bought. Maybe they are too "soft" sounding for my system? I love it between DAC and preamp, and that one is going to stay; but farther down the system (between preamp and active crossover, between crossover and amps) they seem to smooth thing out just TOO MUCH.
Yesterday I put my old Odin cables back and BAM! Life, dynamics, detail, 3D image, even SPL seems a bit higher.
I'm fully aware about burn-in and I will keep burn-in the Gold cables through the Tape Rec output of the preamp, not listening to them, for a little while. We shall see.
In the meantime I've found another Odin cable I'd like to try: it's the same as my old ones but instead of having the fake Furutech Rhodium-Carbon plugs, it has silver plated plugs from the Chinese OEM brand XSSH. The price was extremely cheap at 35USD / 1m so I purchased one. Logically it should be the same as my old cables but without the effect of rhodium. I'm curious.
