After having done more extensive research several days ago..., I've decided to pursue the standard Odin XLR IC's with the black graphite connectors as mentioned by KanedaK with the differences being the 8 core strands versus the 6 core..., I'll also be picking up a pair of their current model of IC's, referred as the Odin Gold..., as my dearest wife felt I deserve them, and will be buying a 1.5m on Tuesday on my behalf.
As I'm very very content sonically | more importantly musical with pairs of Kudos Audio KS-1 SCs ( silver plated copper ) as well as having corrected a mistake in letting a pair of Pearl Acoustics Sibelius SCs slip through my hands without having even listened to them, these are very very neutral pure copper SCs wrapped in a soft outer silicone based jacket | separated by 2 leads per side, I've to thank Kevin ( earnie 03 ) which I sold a pair two, how he believes it's a very very well matched pairing, and seeming at the originally cost me only $400 for a 3.7M pair, which I had cut down from a 4M pair, logically I don't see this as a need to bust open the piggyback.., and am willing to buy another pair, at which point ( as I appears, I'm once again finding myself saying my quest has reached its end ) yet cabling wise.., I truthfully can't justify spending or needing more, so well matched tonality speaking, that I'm afraid to change out one more cable, regardless of brand or price, my instincts tell me this is good enough for me to call it a lifetime.
