Once again, I'd ask each of you whom have actually compared the Odin 2 | Odin Gold AC Cords?, to please chime in with your overall impressions..., so far I've only heard from one member here whom praises the Odin 2 versions, yet I've to assume never took time to even listen to the Gold, but in fact is basing his option as a recommendation from a inside the industry friend.
And while I've had both the Odin 2 AC Cord | Odin Gold IC's in my hand, and sold both of them..., my thinking again is, I'm aware of both, knowing at sometimes in the New Year, once the ones which can be found more flexible with a gauge between 17-15 become readily available for the power cord | the truer Gold IC's or XLR IC's with the real foil wrappings are without a doubt the real ones?, I can wait, seeming as these are the only two I didn't seriously own long enough to have passed judgement on, as at the time my DAC in question used with the Odin 2 cord was rather lightweight | couldn't support it, hence my desire for a smaller gauge cord, but as the current DAC is the Denafrips Pontus ll, which is much much heavier, where I'll be rotating between said Gold and Puritan Audio Labs Classic + ( copper ) Power Cords..., especially as I intend to replace their connectors on both ends with Rhodium Plated Copper on the Odin Gold ( to add a little bit more sparkle | high end extension | nimbleness if so needed? ) | and Pure or Red Copper connectors on the Classic + ( to unlock its full potential ),where I've come to believe replacing the suspect brass plugs on both of these cords, can only enhance their overall performance respectively | no matters what's said?, tubes as well as cabling are in fact means of tone controlling one's system, I for one am not afraid to explore said possibilities.
But once again, I'd ask those of you whom have compared the Odin 2 against the Odin Gold Power Cords?, to speak your mind | who knows, maybe I made the right choice after all?, your voice carry's weight, use it.
