RE: Once?

We have a Ridgeline and a Pilot.

When we moved, I must have made 20 trips to the dump with the truck. We had lived in that house 33 years and had accumulated a lot of "stuff". I also hauled many loads of stuff to this house before the movers came for the big stuff. These days, we make a couple of trips to the nursery every spring and weekly trips to recycle. We don't have curb side recycle. We have a neighborhood recycle drop off by the maintenance barn. We could do everything we do with a car, but an open bed is way easier. I am going to pick up 10 gallons of non- ethylene gas tomorrow for hurricane season. Gas cans in an open pickup is way safer than gas cans in the back of an SUV or a car trunk.

I drove a two seater (280Z) back before kids. After kids, we did a lot of back packing, kayaking, canoeing and camping trips. SUVs were perfect for canoe trips, with the tent, sleeping bags, paddles, ice chest, life jackets, the canoe on top and ample seating for everyone. I don't think that all of that gear and four people would fit in a Cobalt.
