Your example of a song is based on prior knowledge of the song, and you're filling in the blanks.This is not detection. The detection thresholds as measured by actual tests rather tend to confirm something between 80 and 200 milliseconds.
To the last, you mean "understanding", and for understanding, machines aren't even in the race.
