What a disappointment! :)

I thought I would find the ultimate secret, the fountain of youth, but no.
Unfortunately (or fortunately) I already have chokes on the tweeter and the bass (but not the mid since it already has a series choke) on my bi-amped IIIa's and I agree that both chokes are beneficial.
I think if one is not bi=amping the easiest approach would be to insert a 10 uH choke at the input rather than before the tweeter (Al has suggested putting a choke in the tweeter attenuator position instead of a resistor or jumpber). This would filter all the drivers. The idea is to prevent RF from returning to the amp.
