G5, I understand. However, these comments came from a guy who's is familiar with planars and likes them.

At first glance, I still thought he had lost it. Then, it hit me. One can be totally overtaken by Maggies' substantial imaging capabilities and never miss this aspect.

I would not have recognized the importance of what Valin is saying had it not been for the manner in which I went about improving my MMGs. First, the Tazmon' capless tweak and variations thereof. This gave me a taste of a "something" that I knew was not available when in a normal xover, back in late 2008.

It was so significant that when I was planning to move to a line-level bi-amp, I delayed. I knew that I would loose this feature (I did not really call it this. I think I called it "Factor X"). The chokes were my salvation. They allowed me to keep it, and even improve it.
