Pre Kylie, who except those in the inner city "underground" scene knew anything about Nick Cave? It took Kylie, and perhaps his softest work ever to get into the mainstream charts. When you have extremely talented artists who's musical tastes are rather offbeat, you can have excellent, groundbreaking albums that are never heard, except by a few hundred or thousand diehard fans.
