"How sad. No wonder our side is losing." I'm not exactly sure what your point is. I assume it's a slam at Steve.Certainly high end audio is fraught with snake oil, dogma and myth. But it is only high end audio, and the victims of unverifiable claims generally are not the down and out of society.
What is truly sad in my mind is that the irrationality, adherence to dogma and closed mindedness that permeates these boards is merely a faint reflection of the broader menace that these approaches to life pose to the very survivability of the human race. I believe that religious extremism (which exists or has existed in virtually every creed) and the willingness to commit unthinkable acts of death and destruction in the name of a given set of dogmatic beliefs today truly does threaten the very existence of we humans.
