Re: Proof is fleeting!

For clarification, I never claimed that long term listening was a proven requirement to test the validity of perceived differences. But I would make three points.

First, I'm not aware of proof that it isn't (although there may very well be - I personally respect jj's experience and expertise on these matters and he probably could shed a lot of light on this question).

Secondly, I do not ever recall seeing a report of a long-term DBT listening test. All of the ones I've seen involve short-term, rapid-switching type tests.

Third, I don't have the patience or interest to conduct long or short term DBTs.
