Yes, I am.
Now that I've discerned the effect, I can hear it immediately, but it does take a period of time running the laser in play or pause mode on my player for the effect to maximize.
I know I'll get razzed for this next comment, but I have also found that the effect seems to magnify when I'm laying back with the lights off in a semi-trance state. This happens to me frequently at live classical concerts, seldom happens with digital, about half the time with vinyl, but almost as many times when listening with a chipped disc of a great recording. This may be the same effect as those reporting on hearing it better from the side or when listening casually. The music sounds more natural and alive, but I haven't been able to discern why.
