If the European regulations are anything like the US regulations they won't cover all the frequency bands that affect audio system performance.
I haven't read CISPR 22, nor will I unless someone gives me a copy to read or pays the tab at the ANSI store. I object on principle to paying money to standards organizations or any other publishers who put their imprimatur on work by people who they do not pay. (In practice, the authors of most standards documents end up paying money to standards organizations.) One of the reasons why the Internet succeeded as a communication standard over competing proposals such as OSI is that the IETF standards documents were freely available for all to download.
