The idea that isolation of the speaker crossover from vibrations sounds promising in fact

I'm thinking about dismantling my speakers and inserting some type of isolation between the cabinet and the crossover.

I think there is far more vibration from the speakers themseves than from seismic causes. Failing the use of vibration measuring equipment we can only use what tools we have to decide the source of the bad vibes. With your system off we know that no vibrations are coming from the speakers. In this situation how much vibration, most of which would be seismic do you feel? Now put the system on at the normal listening level and note what vibrations you feel. The difference is what's being generated by the speakers.

In my listening room, also on a concrete slab, there is far more vibration evident with the system on - meaning the speakers(which actually produce sound by vibrating) are causing vibrations of far greater magnitude than with the system off(seismic). Hence the bad vibes are coming primarily from the speakers. By isolating the speakers from the floor you are not preventing the bad vibes from exiting the speaker, which they are in any case. What your'e doing is preventing them from reaching your sources and electronics by forcing the energy to do the work of moving the balls and which removes this energy from the system.

A well isolated component as in the case of one on Hip Joints will still let some amount of vibration thru. By decreasing the magnitude of the bad vibes you will, in a very resolving system be able to detect the improvement.
